Acclaimed documentary film, A Powerful Noise, will be showing in 450 theaters throughout the U.S. for one night on March 5th.

Not just another movie ticket but a passport into the lives of women worldwide.If you’re looking for a night out with a purpose, here’s the perfect ticket for you. On Thursday, March 5, in honor of International Women’s Day, CARE and NCM Fathom – in partnership with ONE and the UN Commission on the Status of Women – will present A POWERFUL NOISE Live in 450 movie theatres nationwide, including across California. The one-night event will feature the acclaimed documentary, “A Powerful Noise.” “A Powerful Noise” takes viewers into the lives of three women, making you cry with a young widow in Vietnam, hope with a mother in Bosnia and cheer with a matriarch in Mali. But when the credits start rolling, you’ll be transported into something else: a movement. After the film ends, you don’t want to miss the live panel discussion broadcast live via satellite from New York City to your local big screen.

The panel features Madeleine K. Albright, former U.S. Secretary of State and Principal, The Albright Group LLC; Christy Turlington Burns, CARE advocate for maternal health and contributing editor for Marie Claire magazine;Dr. Helene Gayle, CARE president and CEO; Nicholas Kristof, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, New York Times columnist and acclaimed author; and Natalie Portman, actress and activist.
